Missing Connection
Is there a better way to understand the city than through its public transportation system? Depending on whose perspective is foregrounded in the decision making, the planning of transportation infrastructure has a substantial impact on people's lives.
Missing Connection is a game through which players can experience planning issues from the perspectives of four powers involved—The Local Government, The Urban Planner, The Corporation, and The Citizens. Situated in the three neighbourhoods of The Hague, the gameplay invites the players to decide where to place a tram stop, prompting them to think whether the process is fair.
This project was the final one of my Bachelor's degree and was presented during the 2021 Graduation Festival at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague.
